  • Our Fundraising

One of the primary objectives in organizing Bike 50 at 50 is to raise funds for a few different charities. There's an important personal reason related to each of the three organizations that David has chosen. His ride through the United States will benefit their efforts.

The American Heart Association's mission is to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.

David's father Robert was diagnosed with coronary insufficiency (angina) at the age of 33. Fortunately, with the help of medication, close attention to his diet and a consistent regimen of physical activity, David's dad has lead a healthy, active life for the last 40 years and still sails, bikes and plays tennis.

  • How to Donate

It's really easy!! Click on to the charity of your choice. Each site will give you instructions to follow. If you're not sure as to what or how much you should donate, here are a few suggestions: A dime per week or for every state visited . . . that's $5 $1 per week or $1 per state . . . that would be $50 How about a penny per mile? I plan on doing just about 15,000 miles. That would be $150 The point is that it doesn't matter how much you donate . . . only that you find it in your heart to donate something . . . thanks!!
